People need supervision. Supervision in a retail business is the manner of providing a job environment that encourages employees’ accomplishment. 

The objectives of supervision are to oversee personnel, achieve good performance, maintain employee morale and motivation, minimize redundancies, communicate company policies and resolve problem.
