Since customers are more concerned to consume
healthy food, many retailers are competing to provide produce as one of their
fresh food. However, produce itself has a nature of perishable and short life compared
to other food categories. Hence, it needs proper management. The module
provides store people with a good understanding of the produce department
through handling skills, produce merchandising skills and knowledge, good
sanitation, produce inventory management, proper shrink control so that they
can carry their job in the most productive and effective way possible.
